FINE AND COARSE 

NATURAL SEA SALT

BIOSAL^® is a natural sea salt obtained from the evaporation of sea water, in an ecologically protected zone in Sicily. Hand processed, following a 2000 years tradition it does not contain additives antiagglomerates or insoluble residues and is naturally white. All the minerals that accompany sodium chloride and numerous other trace mineals are preserved. It has the perfect balance of mineral salt because it contains less sodium chloride and more potassium and magnesium compared to “industrial” table salt. It is more soluble than normal salts so it easily dissolves into foods and meat to enhance flavorings.

PACKAGINGS: 1kg fine or coarse sea salt pack or 25 kg fine or coarse bags for industrial use.

STORAGE: Sea Salt has unlimited shelf life, but is an hydroscopic product. Better keep it in a dry place, but if humid it doesn’t loose any of his peculiar characteristics.

IODIZED Natural Sea Salt

Fortifying salt is an effective means of increasing dietary iodine. Use Biosal^® with iodine in place of “normal” table salt to integrate your daily intake of iodine. Iodized Biosal^®  is available in 250g saltshaker.

Natural Sea Salt with herbs from organic farming

Natural sea salt with herbs is a good seasoning for all kind of dishes. It can be use on meat, vegetables or fish in place of normal table salt to enhance their tastes. The presence of organic herbs (such as  thyme, fennel, dill, turmeric, etc..) gives a characteristic spicy-flavour and helps to reduce the amount of salt added. A small amount is enough to salt food.
